Day 1: London - Barcelona
On arrival in Barcelona, meet your tour rep in the arrival hall. Then drive to Montjuic for a breath-taking view of the city and harbour. Later enjoy free time at the Las Ramblas, for souvenirs, shopping or enjoy the numerous cafes’ on the street. Finally we make our way for a Flamenco Show. The Flamenco show isn't just about the fancy footwork, but also the masterful guitar playing and beautiful singing. (L, D)
Day 2:Barcelona - Montserrat - Barcelona
Today meet up with our local professional guide for a city orientation tour of Barcelona which includes the magnificence
of Gaudi's controversial Sagrada Familia, Sagrada Familia (from outside). After lunch drive to the mountain Montserrat.
Montserrat Monastery is of significant religious importance and the natural beauty surrounding the monastery is simply
breath-taking. The tour to the top is done by either coach or funicular. After some free time, drive back to Barcelona. (B, L)
Day 3: Barcelona - Valencia
This morning, check out and proceed towards Valencia. On arrival meet our local professional guide in the city centre.
During the tour view the Town Hall and the massive Gateway Towers of Serrano and Quart. Later view a bullring from the
outside and then see one of the most prominent sights in alencia, the La Seo Cathedral which houses numerous religious
and artistic treasures. (B, D)
Day 4: Valencia - Madrid
On arrival, depart for an excursion to L'Oceanogràfic, the largest aquarium in Europe. Then drive to Madrid. On arrival in Madrid, proceed on a panoramic tour covering the Royal Palace, Puerta del Sol and Plaza de Cibeles. We then see the "Plaza de España" as we drive through the world-renowned and shopping district of Madrid the "Gran Via". At the Plaza, you can see the monument to Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra. Later in the evening, we go for our Indian meal at the restaurant. (B, D)
Day 5: Madrid
Today morning head towards the Royal Palace - home to the Kings of Spain from Charles III to Alfonso XIII, Madrid's Royal
Palace takes us on a journey through the history of Spain. We then take a break for Indian lunch at a restaurant before
making our way to the Market of San Miguel, which is Madrid most popular and covered market. In the afternoon we proceed
to the "Gran Via", which literally means "Great Way", Madrid's most important shopping area. Today the tour rep may conduct
an optional tour of Madrid Football Stadium, the illustrious "Santiago Bernabéu Stadium". Later we go back to the "Gran
Via" and join up with the rest of the group before we make our way to the restaurant for our evening dinner. (B, L, D)
Day 6: Madrid - London
After breakfast, check out and make our way back to the city of Madrid. We visit the Parque del Buen Retiro (Retiro Gardens)
known as the best gardens in Madrid. We spend the morning in one of the largest city parks in Spain. The park belonged to the
Spanish Monarchy until the late 19th century, when it became a public park. We then proceed to the restaurant for our Indian
lunch, before we board back onto the coach and make our way to Madrid airport for our flight back to London Heathrow. (B, L)
